Essential features
tickster.artistProfile stores your artist ID and private edit key when you save your profile. tickster.artistUsername remembers your artist name. The tickster_visitor cookie supports requested likes, comments, and battle invitations; it can last up to one year. Privacy choices and terms acceptance are remembered separately. Blocking storage can prevent account editing and social features. Other browser preferences and project-editing options may be remembered by the editor.
Optional backups
With your permission, tickster.userFiles.v1.* stores working projects, imported/exported JSON, and draft artist settings per artist or guest. The editor synchronizes private backups when saved credentials load and when online. These stay in browser storage until cleared; server copies have a separate lifecycle. Images themselves are not backed up to localStorage.
Optional audience measurement
With your permission, tickster_audience identifies a browser for live presence and session play counts. It lasts up to one year. Audience heartbeats expire after 60 seconds; repeat playback is deduplicated for 30 minutes. Counts describe participating browsers, not verified people. Choosing Essential only lets you listen without taking part in optional audience tracking.
Your controls
Use Privacy settings on any page to change choices. Optional features are off by default. Withdrawing permission stops new optional processing, but does not delete existing server records or local project files automatically. Export before clearing your browser if you want to keep your projects. Ask the operator for existing server-data removal. Essential social cookies are created when those requested features are used.
